Our Senior Product Marketing Manager

As Knotch’s Sr. Product Marketing Manager, you will be trusted to own the planning and execution of our key product marketing initiatives. Your work will directly impact Knotch in defining a new market category and becoming the world's leading content intelligence platform. 

You’ll be successful if you possess an interest in all things strategy, content creation, sales enablement, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration. You dive into each project with a sense of curiosity and urgency paired with empathy for your teammates. With your experience and energy on our team, we will emerge a market leader and grant you innumerable opportunities for your own professional growth.

How you’ll add value at Knotch

  • Play a key role in helping Knotch create and lead this new Content Intelligence category 
  • Work with our Head of Product Marketing each day to strategize and then execute bringing world class technology to market
  • Align consistently with our product and engineering teams on upcoming releases and lead how we will communicate product value to our customers

You'll be responsible for

  • Taking product developments and turning them into external messaging that aligns with our overall company story.
  • Owning the relationship between marketing and product on a day-to-day basis. Ensuring that we have an end-to-end plan for bringing product enhancements to market. This includes customer communications, webinars, sales enablement, website updates, etc. 
  • Developing buyer and user personas and aligning our product messaging through features, benefits and value. 
  • Building & running a routine sales enablement program to ensure the revenue organization is both trained and armed with world class materials (e.g. Sales Decks, Pocket Stories, Case Studies, etc.).
  • Aligning with our Revenue team in a pragmatic way to glean insights into how our messaging is resonating with prospects and how our customers are using our technology to connect their content to business outcomes
  • Supporting our demand generation by presenting at events and webinars and developing content for various parts of the sales funnel

You’ll be successful here if you bring

  • Five years of professional experience with at least two years of product marketing experience at a B2B SaaS company
  • Experience owning or supporting end-to-end product releases & launch processes for SaaS technology
  • Strong sales enablement skills including building presentations, conducting regular trainings and creating and maintaining key assets (including sales decks, customer stories, etc.)
  • Inclusive communications skills for both internal and external audiences: the ability to simplify complex ideas through thoughtful messaging
  • Demonstrated ability to write both short-form and long-form content to drive top of funnel awareness and also support middle of the funnel conversion

We also appreciate (but don’t require)

  • A solid understanding of SaaS Product Management or direct experience in that role
  • Experience with marketing software that involves data and insights (e.g. GA360, Adobe Analytics, Marketo, Pardot, Tableau, Looker etc.)
  • Previous content industry experience
  • Experience presenting at conferences: as you will be presenting regularly here on Knotch webinars and demos

Location

Knotch is remote 1st and we plan to stay that way. We have personnel in 4 countries, including the US, Canada, India and Romania, and 14 US states and we are open to adding more.
