Campaign Manager, discovery+
Overview
The Campaign Manager is essential to the success of discovery+ and will support the development of discovery+ original campaigns as we engage, acquire and retain customers through breakthrough marketing and creative efforts.
This individual will drive discovery+ original campaigns in collaboration with the Content Marketing team, Brand team, Creative teams and Research, on executing against GTM strategies, brand and messaging adherence, optimized creative placement throughout multiple media funnels, KPIs and campaign reporting.
The ideal candidate will be an excellent planner, detail oriented and able to ladder efforts back to a larger discovery+ global brand vision.
This position reports to the Director, Campaign Strategy & Planning
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute discovery+ originals advertising campaigns
- Nurture partnerships with cross functional teams including Content, Brand, Product, Social, Data & Analytics, Operations and (potentially) external vendors to create engaging and data-driven marketing campaigns, both at a local and global scale
- Work closely with content marketing, network marketing, social and brand strategy to create a cohesive narrative and identity for discovery+ original content
- Innovate on new ways to acquire, engage and retain users
- Support the development of campaign presentation materials
- Keep constant eyes on campaign performance, making recommendations to optimize
- Brand messaging implementation
- Champion creative team and creative process
- Hands on management of total funnel 360 degree advertising campaigns
- Partner/collaborate with media to fully understand owned and paid opportunities
- Watch content/demonstrate expertise individual titles
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in marketing and campaign management
- A deep knowledge of the streaming landscape and Discovery's global portfolio
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills at a high volume and a fast pace
- Excellent written communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to problem solve/course correct, apply strategic thinking, pivot with changing priorities and needs.
- Personable team member with professionalism and exceptional responsiveness
- Comfortable speaking in large groups; leading meetings.
- Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Must have legal right to work in the United States.
