Bombora is looking for a seasoned business development executive with strong organizational and management skills. The ideal candidate must have an existing network of contacts at businesses matching our ideal partner profile.
This position will play a critical role in developing strategic partnerships that expand the footprint of Bombora’s market leading data co-operative. This role contributes to Bombora’s most crucial business process: data aggregation.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a role that requires truly dynamic problem solving, engagement with executive-level decision makers representing the market leader in B2B purchase intent data.
You will:
- Own partnership development process from prospect to contract close, targeting Key and Target accounts of Tier 1 B2B and Business news media companies.
- Facilitate rapid deployment and time to value with the adoption of Bombora resources.
- Advise partners on their GTM strategy leveraging Bombora data products.
- You will be responsible for developing the our strategic data partnerships with a primary focus on (but not limited to) EMEA
- Validate the client workflow and engage the appropriate support and technical resources where necessary
- Frequent client and prospect interaction through sales calls and regular onsite visits across the US.
- Acquire knowledge of Customer technology stacks and workflows
You have:
- 10+ year’s experience in digital media business development or sales roles.
- Demonstrated success working with C-level, senior executives and decision-makers, within B2B media and online advertising related companies.
- Self-sufficient in running full sales cycle from initial contact through post-sales success
- Knowledge of B2B marketing/publishing landscape.
- In depth understanding of our Customers' businesses and their use cases for intent data.
- Knowledge and understanding of Big Data
- Strong track record in consultative selling and lead generation
- Proven competence in establishing new marketplaces for sales
- Strong communicator and leader
- Proven ability of accurate pipeline management from initial engagement to close
- Skilled in establishing, developing and maintaining key relationships within strategic accounts, including senior client relationships
- Ability to work collaboratively
- Familiarity with real-time market data feeds and market data distribution platforms is desirable. Maintains open communication with internal teams and collaborates with them to implement new processes and acquisition standards.
- Possesses strong negotiation skills and the ability to reach the right individual within a company to obtain key information
- Uses creativity and ambition to constantly generate new data sources and build upon existing accounts.
- Flexibility to travel internationally, once feasible
- Outstanding computer skills - Excel, Word, PPT
