About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Vendor Program Relationship Manager to provide relationship management support to existing, strategic vendor programs by managing the day-to-day needs of each program. This includes initial credit review and submissions of new opportunities, pricing, monitoring and managing transaction flow, internal stakeholder navigation and support of senior relationship manager and leadership needs. This role will form time to time support new business development work by supporting more senior RMs and Leaders in the pursuit and negotiation of new key programs.

This role will form time to time support new business development work by supporting more senior RMs and Leaders in the pursuit and negotiation of new key programs.
In this role, you will:
- Lead or participate in sourcing new clients or growing existing relationships in a given product or specialty
- Understand clients' businesses, strategic objectives, operational priorities, and financial positions within the context of individual deals and client relationships
- Lead moderately complex transactions in partnership with coverage teams for specialty products, including by analyzing potential opportunities, structuring, proposing, and selling tailored financial solutions to clients; lead internal coordination and submit transactions to management or independent risk for approval
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve client issues and achieve business objectives
- Independently resolve moderately complex issues while leveraging a solid understanding of relevant policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Partner with product management functional partners to provide feedback on evolving market needs to enable the innovation, design, and delivery of credit solutions more effectively
- Contribute to large-scale planning related to a given product or specialty's business objectives
- Serve as a mentor for less experienced individuals
- 4+ years of secured or specialized lending sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Equipment Finance experience supporting secured credit or venor based financing programs.
- Experience preparing equipment related credit reviews, pricing, and approval submissions.
- Experience managing Equipment Finance transaction flow across sales, credit, risk, and operations.
- Experience supporting vendor program relationships, including ongoing program maintenance and issue resolution.
- Experience assisting senior relationship managers with Equipment Finance business development and program negotiations.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
- This position offers a hybrid work schedule. Current requirements are 4 days in-office.
