We’re looking for a media-savvy, culturally fluent Media Planner/Strategist with a well-rounded understanding of the US Hispanic media ecosystem to support the development and execution of strategic, integrated plans for national audiences. The ideal candidate brings a balanced mix of cultural intelligence, channel expertise, and analytical rigor, paired with a genuine passion for reaching diverse Hispanic consumers in meaningful, authentic ways.
Working closely with the Media Supervisor / Associated Media Directors, client leads, and cross-functional partners, the Media Planner/Strategist will help develop channel strategies that challenge conventions, reflect cultural nuances, and drive measurable business results. This role requires someone who can move seamlessly between insight and execution, connecting data, culture, and media creativity to deliver strategies that truly resonate.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on holistic media and marketing recommendations across paid channels, ensuring cultural relevance and audience precision for US Hispanic consumers.
- Support and contribute to the creation, execution, and ongoing optimization of strategic, integrated media plans, including writing client-ready slides, managing budgets and channel allocations, and developing audience strategies across all media channels.
- Utilize syndicated research and planning tools (e.g., Nielsen, ComScore, MIR-Simmons, Mintel) to analyze audience behavior, media consumption, and market opportunities.
- Evaluate RFPs, make informed recommendations, and apply strategic rationale to support all planning decisions.
- Analyze campaign performance and results, extracting key learnings and translating them into clear, actionable recommendations to strengthen future work.
- Work closely with clients/strategy leads to ensuring media strategies effectively reach the right consumers and support brand and campaign goals.
- Partner with creative, account, investment, and analytics teams to ensure alignment, consistency, and flawless execution.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with multicultural media partners and vendors, staying current on evolving platforms, offerings, and trends.
- Manage workflows to ensure work stays on track, internal processes are followed, expectations are clearly communicated, and deadlines are consistently met.
- Maintain accurate monthly budgets in collaboration with team leads and external investment teams, track, and report results to stakeholders.
- Provide oversight and guidance to Associate Media Planner(s), ensuring accuracy and quality before deliverables are submitted.
- Contribute to POVs, and internal knowledge sharing as needed.

Qualifications / Who YOU Are:

- You have an understand of US Hispanic consumer behavior and media habits and you are motivated by the opportunity to influence how brands and consumers interact.
- You are comfortable and demonstrate the ability to turn insights and data into creative, effective media recommendations.
- You enjoy managing projects and processes while taking on new opportunities.
- You collaborate with teammates and partners, and you’re comfortable building strong working relationships across internal teams, clients, and external partners.
- You are a media math guru with a strong understanding of basics (CPMs, GRPs, Reach/Frequency) and performance KPIs (CPA, ROAS).
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel & PowerPoint) and media planning tools such as MediaTools, Simmons, Mintel, and similar platforms.
- You hold 2+ years of experience working as a media assistant or planner, preferably in a multichannel capacity (agency experience preferred).
- · Previous experience in the quick-service restaurant (QSR) category is a plus.
Salary and Benefits
Actual base salary is determined upon factors such as experience, qualifications, training, certifications, and internal equity. The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Base salary is part of a total rewards package that includes highly competitive benefits like generous medical, dental, vision, pet insurance, commuter benefits, disability and life insurance coverage, 401(k) matching, up to 14 holidays per year, a “Do Good Day,” and unlimited PTO.

In-Office Work Schedule
This is a hybrid role, requiring a minimum of 2 days in-office per week.
