Barstool Sports is looking for a Media Planner to join our Revenue Strategy team. This individual will lead in the brainstorm and build of media plans for clients with varying budget levels. The ideal candidate is someone who has exceptional communication skills, is able to work cross-functionally with multiple departments (Sales, Marketing, Account Management, Content) and can manage competing priorities. This role will be extremely impactful in bringing Barstool opportunities to life in the form of detailed media plans; keeping in mind client goals, asset alignment and overall understanding of the Barstool ecosystem.   

What You'll Do

  • Lead in the ideation and creation of media plans for RFPs, live event tentpoles and key franchises 
  • Communicate across teams (i.e. Pricing, Programming, Production, Marketing, Sales, Account Management) to ensure there is alignment on pitched ideas and sellable assets
  • Monitor and incorporate feedback from the client and/or the internal team for continuous workflow improvement
  • Create campaigns in Jupiter for plans once they are approved
  • Track deliverables for all owned campaigns, while adhering to turnaround times  
  • Keep an open dialogue with Sales to understand and react to market feedback as well as ad product performance
  • Convey a deep understanding of Barstool assets and articulate a point-of-view on why something is/should be recommended 

What You Have

  • 2+ years of experience working in digital media preferred, specifically the planning discipline – Publisher, Ad Tech, or Agency
    • Firm grasp on how to construct thoughtful and detailed media plans based on client goals in Excel and/or Google Sheets
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work efficiently and collaborate cross-functionally
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Ability to work toward long-term goals while delivering short-term wins
  • Experienced in Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups)
  • Ability to retain large amounts of information including product descriptions, distribution touchpoints and previous performance
  • Eager to be a part of a hardworking team; contributing an all hands on deck mentality 

Salary Range: 70,000-75,000k
