Department Summary
Our DISH Media Ad Sales team, headquartered in New York City with additional offices in Chicago, Denver, and Los Angeles, empowers brands to reach their target audiences seamlessly across the DISH and Sling platforms. Specializing in data-driven addressable and programmatic advertising solutions, this innovative and passionate team excels in navigating the dynamic TV advertising landscape.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Candidates must be willing to participate in at least one in-person interview.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed budgeted revenue goals and activity targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Manage a portfolio of advertising agencies and clients in New York and assigned geographic territories.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies, proposals, and campaigns for both existing and new accounts.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in Data-Driven TV, Addressable TV, Over-the-Top (OTT), new media, and digital convergence within the media ecosystem.
  • Represent DISH Network and SLING TV at industry events, acting as a brand ambassador.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, operations, product, marketing, and finance teams, participating in meetings, training programs, and conferences as needed.

Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field, and 4+ years of Advertising Sales experience; or 9 to 11 years of Industry experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Familiarity with data space and impression based sales experience with an increased emphasis on programmatic fluency
  • Track record of consistently exceeding expectations

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Highly self-motivated, resourceful, enthusiastic, with excellent communication skills
  • Exceptional Written and Verbal skills, especially in corporate presentation settings
  • Creative thinker and problem solver who works well both individually and within a team. One that can learn and adapt quickly to changing circumstances within the workplace and projects
  • Must possess the ability to articulate needs and provide direction in a clear and concise manner

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $90,200.00/Year - $148,005.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
