[Summary]

  • We are hiring HR Generalists and HR Specialists to support day-to-day HR operations for corporate headquarters and multi-state workforces
  • Serve as a key link between management and employees — employee relations, policy guidance, onboarding, and documentation
  • Administer HRIS/payroll data (ADP, Workday), benefits, and all U.S. leave programs including FMLA, ADA, and state leave laws
  • Support internal communications and employee engagement programs across U.S. offices

[Duties and Responsibilities]

HR Operations & Employee Relations

  • Serve as a key link between management and employees; handle questions, resolve work-related problems, and advise on policy, EEO, and workplace conduct
  • Support the HR Manager with documentation for dispute resolution, investigations, and disciplinary procedures
  • Plan and conduct new hire orientation and onboarding; maintain personnel records, handbooks, job descriptions, and classifications (exempt/non-exempt)
  • Maintain HRIS/payroll data (ADP Workforce Now, Workday) ensuring accuracy, tax allocations, and multi-state wage, hour, and leave law compliance
  • Prepare reports such as org charts, headcount, compensation analysis, and HR metrics

Leave of Absence & Benefits Administration

  • Manage the administration of all U.S. leave programs including FMLA, ADA, STD/LTD, Paid Parental Leave, Military Leave, Personal Leave, and applicable state leave programs
  • Lead the ADA interactive process and coordinate reasonable accommodation requests with employees, managers, HR, Legal, and healthcare providers
  • Serve as primary liaison with third-party leave administrators; manage case escalations, claim reviews, and service delivery
  • Create, maintain, and close leave events in Workday; partner with Payroll and HRIS on return-to-work processing
  • Educate employees and managers on leave policies, accommodations, and benefit programs; monitor trends and recommend process improvements

Internal Communications & Engagement

  • Serve as communications partner for People Team initiatives, HR programs, and general affairs updates across U.S. offices
  • Draft, design, and publish digital communications (intranet, posters, banners, digital signage) and newsletters
  • Support employee engagement, culture, corporate citizenship, and sustainability communications

[Skills & Qualifications]

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of progressive HR experience; 5+ years for Leave of Absence/Benefits specialist roles
  • Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now, Workday, or comparable HRIS/HCM
  • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, PWFA, USERRA, and multi-state wage/hour and leave regulations
  • Experience partnering with a third-party leave administrator a plus; SHRM-CP, PHR, or CLMS certification a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills; newsletter/communications writing experience a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; departmental budgeting experience a plus
  • Ability to manage highly confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Multi-site retail, hospitality, or large matrixed corporate experience preferred
