The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Mid-level SailPoint Identity Security Cloud Platform Specialist to join the team in Chicago, IL.
This individual will play a pivotal role in a high-impact, multi-year transformation onboarding applications to SailPoint to modernize our Identity and Access Management (IAM) ecosystem.
You'll join a collaborative IAM Technology and Integration team, bringing your SailPoint expertise to enhance security, streamline access, and enable enterprise-scale identity solutions that protect Boeing's people and critical systems.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Onboard and integrate new applications into SailPoint ISC, including connector configuration, schema mapping, and entitlement catalog management
  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot SailPoint ISC components such as access profiles, roles, policies, certifications, lifecycle management, and workflows to ensure effective identity governance and compliance
  • Perform identity and access governance operations, including access certifications, entitlement reviews, role lifecycle management, and compliance reporting
  • Support and enhance legacy identity and access management tools during transition periods, troubleshooting issues and assisting with decommissioning or migration efforts
  • Develop and maintain custom integrations, rules, scripts, and connectors in SailPoint using Java, Beanshell, Python, or other supported languages
  • Collaborate with security, application, and compliance teams to design and implement identity governance solutions that align with regulatory requirements and organizational policies
  • Respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis, and contribute to runbooks, automation scripts, and support as needed

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 3+ years of experience administering and configuring SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC) or SailPoint IdentityIQ, with proven expertise in application onboarding, connector development, and workflow customization
  • Experience with identity and access governance/Identity Governance and Administration (IAG/IGA) concepts, including role-based access control (RBAC), segregation of duties (SoD), access certifications, and compliance frameworks (e.g., Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)
  • Experience programming in Java and Python
  • Experience with Beanshell, Representational State Transfer Application Programming Interfaces (REST APIs), SQL, or scripting for automation and customization
  • Experience supporting legacy IAM tools and migrating workloads to modern platforms like SailPoint
  • Experience with identity protocols and standards (e.g., System for Cross-domain Identity Management (SCIM), Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP), Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML), OpenID Connect (OIDC) and integration patterns
  • Experience with problem-solving and the ability to troubleshoot complex identity and access issues in a production environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC) certification(s) or equivalent platform experience
  • Experience with privileged access management tools such as CyberArk
  • Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams including developers, security analysts, and business stakeholders
  • Experience with strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Splunk, Datadog, or similar) for tenant health and operational dashboards
  • Experience supporting SaaS identity platforms in a shared operations environment
  • Experience with secure credential handling, API key management, and tenant security hardening
  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated industries
  • Experience with additional IAM tools (e.g., Okta) or complementary technologies (Development Operations/Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (DevOps/CI-CD) pipelines, Business Intelligence (BI) reporting for access analytics)

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $124,950- $169,050
