The ideal writer will have a deep understanding of long-form content strategy and be confident writing about technical topics in an accessible and compelling way. Scope:  20 hours per month, after successful initial test article

Responsibilities:

  • Develop thought leadership articles and blog posts that align with the company’s brand voice and industry positioning. (approx. 3-4/mo)
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and distill key messaging and topics.
  • Research mining trends, market developments, and global industry shifts to inform timely, relevant content.
  • Translate complex technical or geological concepts into simple, accessible language for a broader business and investor audience.
  • Ensure all written materials meet brand tone, compliance, and editorial standards.
  • Contribute content ideas to support quarterly marketing initiatives and PR efforts.
  • Edit and proofread materials to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency across all channels.
Skills and qualifications:
  • Experience as a content writer, preferably within the mining industry and knowledge of the client’s target audience
  • Exceptional writing abilities and the skill to adapt tone and style to match brand and audience. The candidate must also have impeccable grammar and attention to detail.
  • Light strategic collaboration to guide the team on the most effective content piece based on the message they want to convey
  • Ability to meet in US hours
