The Role
We are looking for an individual to join as a Founding Engineer, with experience in developing trading platforms/exchanges, who will help architect, build and maintain our systems. You will be trusted with making important design decisions with substantial autonomy, working directly with the founders to deliver a best-in-class trading experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Proposing and implementing key design choices, including but not limited to:
Enhancing matching + risk engines for existing product suite
Internal accounting and risk management
Optimistic proof generation for batch settlement of trades
New features and products to complement the suite
Rigorously reviewing and improving code that has been produced and will be produced
Who you are:
6+ years experience in a highly technical trading infrastructure / engineering role (preference for someone who’s actually built a central exchange before)
Experienced in Rust, bonus if experienced in Typescript
Deep understanding of low-level architecture (understanding of hardware optimization would be a bonus)
Strong expertise in low latency, high throughput distributed systems
You value strong opinions loosely held
