We're Scan.com. We're building America's national imaging network: the infrastructure that connects patients, providers, and payers to faster, better-value diagnostic imaging. Thousands of patients move through our platform every day, and each is a real person waiting for an answer to a healthcare concern. We exist to get them that answer faster.

We manage the medical imaging pathway end-to-end. Providers order through a single point of entry, and from there, we run the entire medical diagnostic pathway. Managing the full pathway, rather than brokering pieces of it, is what lets us deliver imaging faster, at higher quality, and at a lower cost than the fragmented status quo.

We’re looking for a National Sales Executive (Workers’ Compensation) at an exciting time — we’ve successfully launched multiple platforms and products, raised over $100m in VC funding, reached profitability, and have a growth trajectory of over 100% YoY.

Millions of people wait too long for a diagnosis. Come help us fix that.

WHAT YOU WILL ACHIEVE IN THIS ROLE:

As a National Sales Executive, you will own a national book of business and lead full-cycle sales across key Workers’ Compensation segments. You will build and nurture senior stakeholder relationships, sell consultatively, and bring market feedback back into the business so we can continue to sharpen our product and go-to-market approach.

As a scaleup business, you can expect your role to develop over time. Here are some of the types of things you could be getting involved in:

  • Revenue generation and pipeline development: Prospect, qualify, and close new accounts across payers, TPAs, self-insured employers, and managed care organizations. Build and manage a robust pipeline with defined targets tied to revenue milestones.

  • Strategic account management: Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers including claims directors, medical directors, VP-level operations leaders, and C-suite stakeholders. Understand each account’s goals and pain points (claims costs, medical utilization, return-to-work outcomes) and position solutions accordingly.

  • Consultative selling and solution design: Serve as a subject matter expert in Workers’ Compensation workflows, regulatory environments, and care pathways. Tailor proposals and presentations that connect solutions to measurable outcomes, such as reduced claim duration, lower litigation rates, and faster speed to care.

  • Market intelligence and competitive positioning: Stay current on industry trends, state-specific regulatory shifts, network dynamics, and competitor offerings. Share insights with leadership to inform roadmap decisions and go-to-market strategy.

  • Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with Strategy, Operations, Product, Marketing, and Legal/Compliance to ensure what is sold can be delivered. Support implementation handoffs, pilot design, and contract negotiations, including cooperative services agreements and SLAs.

  • Industry presence and thought leadership: Represent Scan.com at national conferences (e.g., NWCDC, RIMS, WCI) and state-specific comp forums. Build a strong network within the WC ecosystem to generate inbound interest and referral relationships.

  • Reporting and forecasting: Maintain accurate CRM data, deliver pipeline and forecast updates to leadership, and track KPIs including conversion rate, deal velocity, average contract value, and account retention.

WHAT YOU MIGHT BRING TO THE TABLE:

You don't need to tick all the boxes to apply for this role. Whether it's your first role or your fifth role, we believe everyone can add value, learn, and grow. However, these might be some of the ways you are currently adding value:

  • Experience owning full-cycle enterprise or mid-market sales, from outbound prospecting through close.

  • Familiarity with the Workers’ Compensation ecosystem, including common buyer personas, workflows, and regulatory considerations.

  • Familiarity with the role diagnostic Imaging plays in the injured worker care continuum.

  • Strong consultative selling skills, including the ability to translate operational pain points into clear, outcome-based solutions.

  • Confidence building relationships with senior stakeholders and navigating multi-threaded sales processes.

  • Comfort working cross-functionally to shape pilots, implementation plans, and contract terms.

  • Structured approach to pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM discipline.

AI REQUIREMENTS

At Scan.com, AI isn't a side project; it's how we work. We expect everyone to use AI to think faster, remove drudgery, and multiply their output. What we care about is judgment: knowing when AI makes you sharper, when it doesn't, and how to use it responsibly around patient data. We'll assess this in the way that matters for this role, using the tier below. You don't need to be an engineer. You need to reach for the best tool and get more done as a result.

Tier 2 — For this role, you're expected to be AI-Amplified. AI is part of your daily workflow for drafting, analysis, and research, and you know how to check its output and use it responsibly with sensitive data. (most commercial, marketing, finance, people, and G&A roles)

One assessment principle across all tiers: we're testing judgment and adaptability, not whether you've memorized today's tools. Tools change quarterly; the ability to learn and apply them is what compounds.

A VIEW ON OUR CULTURE

We're building something that matters. Every scan we speed up is a real person waiting on an answer, and that urgency runs through everything we do. We move fast, we own outcomes, and take pride in our output. If you like ambiguity, working with ambitious people, and want your work to visibly move the needle, you'll feel at home here.

HOW WE WILL INTERVIEW YOU:

We keep our interview process short and sweet. Here are the stages you can expect, but we might switch up the order depending on team availability:

  1. 30-minute introductory phone call with a member of our Talent Team.

  2. If it feels like there is an initial fit for all, we will invite you to a 45-minute video call with the hiring manager. This is a more structured interview that will deep-dive into the role and technical needs.

  3. 'Scan Standard' interview, where our panel screens for values alignment and the success factors that matter at Scan.com. You will also be assessed on your AI fluency at the stage and depth relevant to your role (see AI Requirements above).

  4. Meet the founders and/or other team members. Again, the length varies depending on how many people are involved and whether in person or via video call.

  5. Offer!

WHAT WE OFFER

We go beyond the basics with our benefits package. Here’s what you can expect from us:

  • Salary range of $100,000 - $150,000 + Commission

  • Equity

  • Flexible remote or hybrid work options

  • Dedicated personal development budget

  • Medical, vision, and dental coverage

  • 28+ days of paid time off across PTO and wellbeing days, so you can show up at your best

  • Paid parental leave

  • 401k retirement plan

  • All the equipment you need to do your best work

  • Inclusive, people-first policies designed by our team, for our team
