The team collaborates closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure continuity of supply, financial stewardship, and the delivery of high-quality products and services. This position is responsible for managing supplier relationships, leading sourcing activities, and supporting procurement strategies for assigned business areas. The successful candidate will partner with stakeholders to negotiate contracts, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure procurement processes align with business objectives. This role requires strong analytical, communication, and project management skills, along with the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
  • Lead supplier performance management and develop strong supplier relationships for designated business areas.
  • Own end-to-end procurement and sourcing processes, including contract negotiations, supplier selection, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Drive cost reduction, process improvement, and value creation initiatives while supporting capital budgeting and cash flow objectives.
  • Serve as a procurement subject matter expert, providing guidance on sourcing strategies, supplier issues, and contract management.
  • Support the adoption and execution of Artificial Intelligence and AI-Enabled tools to improve procurement efficiency, decision-making, and operational effectiveness.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management, procurement, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience negotiating and redlining contracts, including service agreements, statements of work, and software licensing agreements in partnership with legal and business stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, and stakeholder communication skills with experience using data to drive decisions.
  • Experience Applying Artificial Intelligence or AI-Enabled tools to support business processes, productivity, or decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience leading RFx processes and supplier negotiations across indirect spend categories in North America, including services, IT, facilities, or professional services.
  • Demonstrated success implementing cost savings initiatives and supplier performance improvement programs.
  • Experience Leveraging Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, or AI Assistant tools to enhance sourcing, procurement analytics, or operational processes.
  • Knowledge of procurement systems, contract management practices, and supplier performance metrics.

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:
$60,000.00 - $103,000.00 a year
Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
