POSITION SUMMARY

The Network & Infrastructure Intern will support the Network and Infrastructure team in maintaining, monitoring, and improving the organization’s network and systems environment. This internship provides exposure to enterprise networking, server infrastructure, and IT operations while working alongside experienced engineers on real-world projects, and how we can leverage AI to garner efficiencies.

Full-time: 40 hours per week from June 1st, 2026 until August 7th, 2026 
Location: Onsite at 111 W 33rd Street, New York NY 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with our Network Team to understand network design and layout
  • Explore new technology solutions to address a specific real world technology challenge
  • Leverage AI to automate processes or data review and analysis
  • Develop Project Management knowledge and best practices using Monday.com
  • Collaborate with senior network engineers to ensure all relevant equipment data is collected
  • Exposure to our Managed Service Provider (MSP) and Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP)
  • Exposure to Salesforce as our service desk ticket system
  • Document network diagrams, system configurations, standard operating procedures, and troubleshooting guides
  • Place all gathered data into Visio diagrams, as well as supporting Word, Excel, and Scribe documents
  • Provide weekly status reports to senior IT Management

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio
  • Team player with demonstrated leadership skills
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs)
  • Ability to document technical information clearly
  • Self-motivated, driven, organized, and hard-working
  • Hands-on experience in an enterprise IT environment

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • A Junior enrolled in a four-year or five-year undergraduate program in the class of 2027 is preferred
  • A strong interest in Network Administration and/or Network Design as a career is preferred
  • B.A. program or related field
  • Strong interest in technology
  • Interest in PropTech, Internet of Things, and Real Estate a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
