Nexstar Media Group and NewsNation is seeking a Creative Producer intern for Summer 2026. You'll be hands on and learn how to produce high-end national television promos for NewsNation. The paid internships will run from approximately June 1st  –  August 14, 2026.
This is your opportunity to be a part of a growing national television news network. Experience the process of television promotion, from writing to the final edit. You will be side by side with some of the biggest television professionals and have your work seen on television and streaming platforms. This internship is on-site in our downtown New York City offices, 20 hours a week.

Entry-level Video editing skills required
Experience in writing scripts
Beginner to intermediate (or higher) in Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere and Adobe Photoshop
Must be comfortable with a fast-paced working environment.
Must be comfortable working solo or with others in a collaborative, team environment.
Must provide a link to an on-line video portfolio, including writing examples and references

Desired Characteristics

Ideal Backgrounds Include: Journalism or Broadcast Journalism, Digital/New Media Studies, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Production, English, Social Media, Research.

Must be a team player.

Must be self-motivated.

Must be able to take feedback and constructive criticism.

Salary Range: $17/hour 

Qualifications/Requirements

 • Must be pursuing an Associate’s, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree at an accredited Institution and be able to provide documentation to confirm your degree progress.

• Current class standing of sophomore or above

• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• This position is not eligible for sponsorship

• The ability to work at NewsNation corporate office and studio in NYC.
