About Profound

Profound is on a mission to help companies understand and control their AI presence. We’re creating a new category at the intersection of AI, search, and brand visibility — helping the world’s biggest brands measure and influence how they appear across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and beyond.

As we scale rapidly across offices and teams, we’re hiring an Office & Community Manager to own the day-to-day office experience at our NYC headquarters and support a consistent, high-quality onboarding and culture experience as the company grows.

This role is critical to making sure the office runs smoothly, new hires feel oriented from day one, and the environment supports how Profound actually works.

What You’ll Do

Office Operations & Facilities

  • Own day-to-day office operations in NYC — cleaning, maintenance, internet, security, access, supplies, and general readiness.

  • Manage inventory of office supplies, snacks, meals, and equipment.

  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers (building, IT, cleaning, catering, deliveries).

  • Ensure the office is consistently functional, organized, and ready for people to do their best work.

Onboarding & In-Office Experience

  • Support new hire onboarding in partnership with Ops — preparing the office, welcoming new hires, and helping them get oriented on Day 1.

  • Run office tours and first-day logistics so new hires know where to go, who to talk to, and how things work.

  • Help execute onboarding touchpoints (welcome breakfasts, first-week moments, basic social connection).
Be the default in-office point person for questions, issues, and day-to-day needs.

Culture & Community Support

  • Help plan and execute team events, lunches, celebrations, and small rituals that support connection without slowing execution.

  • Support visiting teammates and leaders with office setup, schedules, and logistics.

  • Partner with Ops to maintain a consistent office experience as Profound grows across NYC, SF, and London.

Who You Are
  • 1–3+ years of experience in office management, operations, hospitality, events, or a service-oriented role.

  • Highly organized and reliable — you keep things running and notice issues before they become problems.

  • Comfortable coordinating vendors, handling logistics, and managing multiple priorities at once.

  • People-oriented and approachable — teammates naturally come to you when they need help.

  • Low ego, high ownership — you take pride in doing the unglamorous work well.

  • Thrive in a fast-growing startup environment where things change quickly and processes are built in real time.

Location

This is an on-site role based in our Union Square office, designed for builders who thrive on speed, iteration, and meaningful impact.

For this role, the expected base salary range is $80,000 – $110,000. Profound’s total compensation package is designed to be competitive and includes base salary, equity, and a full range of benefits and perks. Final compensation will depend on factors such as your skills, experience, qualifications, and location, and will be determined during the interview process. Our recruiting team will share more details about the full compensation package and benefits as you move through hiring.
