Complex is seeking a proactive, highly organized, and resourceful Office Manager to oversee daily operations at our New York office. This role is essential in maintaining a productive and welcoming workplace environment, supporting both staff and leadership with administrative functions, and ensuring operational efficiency across departments.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the primary point of contact for facility-related issues
- Oversee day-to-day office functions to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of the office communal and kitchen areas
- Manage key cards and office access for all employees and visitors
- Coordinate weekly company lunches, ensuring variety and accommodating dietary needs
- Shipping and receiving of packages, ensuring timely distribution and tracking
- Schedule and plan internal events, team gatherings, and company celebrations
- Assist with onboarding new hires, including desk setup and office orientation
- Serve as the point of contact for building management and office vendors
- Oversee maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution of office-related issues
- Support HR and internal teams with administrative tasks and special projects as needed
- Provide in-office support to the New York location 5 days a week
Who You Are
- 2+ years of experience as an office manager/coordinator in a corporate office setting
- You’re a people person who enjoys being the go-to for office support
- Proficiency in tools like Google Workspace and Slack
- You’re detail-oriented, catching the little things others might miss
- You can switch gears quickly and adapt to shifting priorities
- You have a “no task too small” mentality and a can-do attitude
- You enjoy creating a positive office vibe and fostering a collaborative culture
- You’re comfortable liaising with vendors, delivery services, and building management
