UNI Diamonds is on a mission to revolutionize B2B diamond trading through smart, AI-driven tools. We help diamond professionals get access to an extensive inventory, learn about market changes and insights using data, and sell using augmented reality technology.


We are looking for a high-performing, outgoing and highly organized gemologist and operations associate to assist with the management of daily business activities and administrative tasks.

The ideal candidate should be a great communicator, proactive, detail oriented, able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and results oriented person that can & wants to work in a startup environment.



Core Responsibilities

  1. Lead and support all daily operations tasks of the business, including planning, order management, sales and after sales support, vendor management and supply chain initiatives to drive inventory needs through data-driven decisions and analysis.
  2. Perform a diverse range of duties including logistics work, import / export shipments, customer service, deliveries, collection, payments, and administrative tasks to support the efficiency of daily business operations.
  3. Examine diamonds to evaluate their genuineness, quality, and value, both physically and online
  4. Tracking incoming shipments, receiving goods, unpacking, repackaging, and dispatching merchandise.
  5. Managing the internal order process within the system, including data entry of all relevant documents, customer and supplier invoices.
  6. Onboarding new customers and suppliers- collecting necessary documentation for system setup.
  7. Establish and maintain trust relationships with customers, suppliers and external stakeholders.
  8. Work effectively and collaboratively with internal teams, all worldwide.


Requirements
  • At least 2 years’ experience in operations and administrative roles. Customer service experience is a must.  Experience working with E-commerce companies is an advantage
  • High attention to detail, strong customer-centric personality, service minded and analytical.
  • Experience with inventory management, database, or similar software is beneficial.
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills; ability to interact and build relationships with both internal and external customers.
  • Ability to think independently and handle multiple projects through to completion.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up the sleeves to get the job done.
  • At ease with technology.
  • Work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • An excellent team player.
  • Bachelor’s degree in any related field.
  • GIA gemologist certification - a BIG PLUS
