Founded in 2015 in London, FLOWERBX is a luxury floral design house with studios across London, New York, Los Angeles, and Dubai. With clients including Gucci, Chanel, and Tiffany & Co., we're known for setting the standard in fashion-led floral design.

This is a new position created to bring dedicated operational ownership to our FLOWERBX New York studio. As Operations Manager, you’ll own the day-to-day operational backbone of our NY studio: working with our global operations team to source the right flowers and manage materials, and owning logistics on the ground, making sure drivers and deliveries run on time, and keeping B2B project stock managed and ready. You’ll report directly to our Head of North America and work closely with the B2B Events team, our Procurement Lead, and our in-house and third-party drivers. This is a hands-on, in-person role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day logistics coordination of our in-house driver, third-party drivers, and UPS for B2B deliveries
  • Scheduling and tracking dispatch for activations, installations, and event logistics
  • Proactively resolving delivery issues before they become client problems
  • Placing day-to-day flower and materials orders for B2B projects, working within supplier terms and timelines set by the Procurement Lead
  • Managing order accuracy, timing, and supplier communication for active projects
  • Physical management of reusable B2B project stock: flower carts, vases, and event materials
  • Receiving, condition checking, and allocating stock across concurrent projects
  • Maintaining clear inventory so the Events team always knows what’s available
  • Pull and compile weekly gross margin data to feed into global B2B operational reporting

Requirements

Skills and Experience

Essential

  • At  least 3 years’ experience in retail operations or warehouse management
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment where priorities shift quickly and no two days are the same
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, you track what’s coming in, what’s going out, and what’s missing, without being asked
  •  A hands-on, proactive working style, you don’t wait for problems to land on your desk
  • Clear communicator: with drivers, with the Events team, with the Procurement Lead, you keep the right people informed without over-escalating
  • Comfortable with light data analysis and creating operational reporting efficiencies
  • Able to commit to full-time, in-office working out of our Manhattan studio

Desirable

  • Experience in a time-sensitive environment (luxury retail, events). Experience in event florals is a nice-to-have
  • Interest in using tech platforms, AI, and automations to create operational improvements
  • Familiarity with driver management or last-mile logistics coordination

Location Information

This is a full-time, in-person contract role based out of our NY studio. This is not a remote or hybrid position, presence on-site is a core requirement of the job

  • Day off for your birthday
  • Day off to support your favourite charity each year
