Role Description:
Teachers Pay Teachers is looking for an organized, thoughtful, proactive Administrative Assistant to support the Senior Leadership team. We are looking for someone who really loves to think ahead and solve issues before they even arise. It is your goal to ensure that our entire team and the New York office stays on schedule, happy, and productive. It is key that you are intellectually curious, personable, relentless, and confident.
Responsibilities:
- Senior Leadership team:
- Coordinate and organize quarterly board meetings
- Perform an extensive array of administrative tasks (manage calendars, book travel, and schedule facilities and equipment)
- Occasionally work on research projects relating to the TpT business
- Office Management:
- Represent the company and its culture well -- given this role can be the first point of contact for current and potential new employees and clients
- Build efficiency and effective responsiveness into existing operations, and help define new operational strategies
- Assist team with overflow, special projects, and day-to-day tasks
- Provide administrative and office support to TpT that include but are not limited to: mailing and posting, ordering company lunches, keeping inventory and ordering of office supplies and office snacks, entering guests into the building security list, assisting various facility related tasks, and more

- Maintain the mindset that no job is too big or small, and the ability to do whatever it takes to get the job done well and efficiently
- Work as an open-minded and collaborative partner that balances consensus-building with getting things done
- Have the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a diverse range of people and job functions
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, including excellent grammar and spelling
- Identify areas of potential support and challenges and proactively work to determine solutions
- Have interest and experience in using technology and the Internet to improve work efficiency
- Demonstrate flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing priorities and an openness to assist wherever needed
Qualifications:
- BA/BS
- A minimum of 4 years of administrative support directly supporting executives
- Proficiency with Google suite of products (docs, sheets, slides)
- Expectation of confidentiality on all business matters
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
Extra Credit:
- Experience supporting C level executives is preferred
