Position Objectives & Job Responsibilities
- Own fertility and family building benefits benchmarking, analysis and deliverables.
- Maintain Maven’s internal database of fertility and family building benefits benchmarks, as well as related tools, templates and information sources that Maven uses to guide current and prospective clients on benefits design
- Complete benefits benchmarking analysis for prospective clients, utilizing Maven’s database and external research
- Model claims cost and utilization for new benefits
- Support Maven’s responses to RFPs and pricing proposal requests that include benefit design, benchmarking, and cost analysis
- Act as Maven’s subject matter expert on benefit design and administration for prospective and current clients.
- Participate in sales meetings with prospective employer and payer clients to consult on family building benefit strategy and design, leveraging knowledge of health plans and the fertility benefits ecosystem
- Participate in the implementation process to support new client plan design
- Support future development of Maven’s benefit design capabilities.
- Stay up-to-date on the fast changing fertility and family building benefits landscape; ensure that relevant trends across employers, payers and the broader fertility benefits ecosystem are communicated to key cross-functional teams
- Surface new tools, capabilities and partnerships that could enhance Maven’s benefit design and administration capabilities
- Communicate insights from client interactions to Maven’s Product Marketing team
- Continuously improve Maven’s tools, templates and databases for benefit design
- In collaboration with Maven’s Program Operations team, regularly analyze and extract insights from Maven’s claims data
Background & Key Qualities
- 6-8 years of career experience
- Ideal candidates have experience in health & benefits consulting and/or at a health plan
- Fertility and family benefits-specific experience required
- Excited to participate in client and prospect meetings to serve as subject matter expert
- Strong attention to detail
- Uses critical thinking to customize general frameworks based on client-specific information
- Proficient on Excel / Google Sheets modeling
