About the Role: IEX Cloud is hiring a Business Operations Manager to support our growing organization. We are looking for a hyper-organized operations whiz who can report to the Head of Cloud/General Manager and dotted line report to the CTO of the business unit to coordinate work cross functionally. What you’ll get: the inside scoop on building the operating rhythms for a dynamic and motivated team. Key Responsibilities
Managing the IEX Cloud team’s OKRs/VAMOS (internal goal management process) and QBR preparation
- Centrally document OKRs/VAMOS goals on a semi-quarterly (6-week cycle) basis at the BU and sub-team levels to ensure full transparency of organizational goals
- Ensure updates to OKR/VAMOS progress in weekly management meeting to understand where we have blockers, dependencies and risks to meeting our goals
- Escalate risks to attainment early and often to the leadership team and work to resolve roadblocks through cross functional communication and coordination
- Summarize goals and attainment for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with the senior leadership team of IEX Group
Plan Weekly Management Meeting and Team All Hands/Offsites
- Manage weekly agendas to ensure we are discussing the most critical topics across the leadership team
- Surface topics of interest across the team for discussion in All Hands/Offsites
- Consolidate and/or build materials for team meetings and All Hands/Offsites to share business performance updates and key topics discussion
- Run semi-quarterly sentiment survey and analyze results to support managers in building and maintaining team morale
Continuously Improve and Manage key Customer Success, Marketing and Product Processes, including:
- Marketing content production examples: oversee relationships with freelance content creators; help manage the content calendar
- Customer success process examples: help documenting best practices and building the tracking and automation for client onboarding, upgrade/upsell and renewal programs
- Product discovery process examples: aid in customer interview scheduling, insight synthesis/distribution, and user survey execution
Program Manage Business Technology Improvements
- Program manage a CRM/MarTech implementation in 2022 (either Hubspot or Salesforce), including managing any third party contractors required
- Vet and analyze other business technology vendors on an ad-hoc basis as needs arise
Support Budget, Vendor Management and Business Analytics
- Run point in annual budgeting process to coordinate resource needs across the team
- Track all vendor contracts through internal Gatekeeper systems, coordinating with Legal and Vendor Management to ensure timely execution of contracts and renewals
- Coordinate with Data Engineering and Analytics team to support the business analytics and reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the Cloud business unit
Experience
- Minimum 5-7 years of professional experience and 2+ years of experience in a finance and/or operations role, preferably at an early-stage company in a SaaS/PaaS business
- Experience and confidence with executive level engagement and presentations
- Ability to collect, organize, and display relevant data in spreadsheet and professional presentation formats; familiarity with SQL a big plus
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g. legal, finance, HR) to deliver successful business outcomes
- Experience negotiating contracts with external parties (e.g. contractors, consultants, technology and data services vendors) with favorable commercial outcomes
