POSITION OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, the Chief of Staff to Chief Commercial Officer is responsible to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and the GLT for operating all of the processes that facilitate the growth of Maven. The goal is to help provide accurate and timely information to facilitate good business decision making and to help facilitate Marketing, Sales and Client Success into a coherent whole. The employee will interact directly with all of the growth team, members of each business unit, finance, HR, marketing, and legal teams. The employee will have strong organizational, analytical and business skills, a successful track record in business or sales operations management and experience of developing structured processes.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with the Chief Commercial Officer and the GLT to provide visibility on achieving Maven’s growth targets
  • Organize and maintain a reporting and reviewing framework, regular and ad-hoc in-depth reports to enable understanding of the pipeline, forecast and key variable; organize and facilitate reviews using that data, chase missing, incomplete or inaccurate data and provide input to the key decision making processes and meetings within the company.
  • Provide support directly to the CCO to enable them to be fully effective;
  • Provide input and information to the other growth support staff and work collaboratively and closely with the operations staff within the other functions across business units and group shared services
  • Act as the focal point for operating, maintaining and improving the growth processes, templates & tools
  • Program management of growth initiatives and the growth component of wider company initiatives
  • Design, build, enhance, and own daily and weekly operational reporting
  • Create and manage business cases through financial and operational model development, product outputs that track and predict key metrics
  • Analyze weekly financial and operational trends to interpret the impact of changes in the business
  • Working with key stakeholders to create data driven solutions to business problems

PERFORMANCE & SUCCESS MEASURES

  • Execute key growth projects to drive scale, role clarity and efficiency
  • Help CCO build & manage a strong, engaging, and high-performance enterprise sales culture that embodies Maven Clinic’s company values and establish a positive, authentic, and strong market reputation with existing and potential partners/clients
  • Build & Maintain exceptional relationships with cross functional partners to drive accountability and project deadlines
  • To succeed, you will need to develop creative solutions to abstract strategic problems, deliver your work in a clear and compelling format, and balance big picture thinking with exceptional attention to detail. This position requires a driven self-starter who takes tasks from start to finish, enjoys working in a fast-paced, challenging environment, and has a thirst for knowledge to not just understand the “what” but the “why”.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong educational background
  • Master’s or post-graduate business, IT-related or Public Health degree
  • Familiarity with data management, analytical and reporting engines
  • Project management or development management skills or qualification
  • Understands the determination, energy, drive, and passion it takes to grow and scale an entrepreneurial business. Embraces change and ambiguity within an organization as a  natural part of scaling
  • Ability to initiate and organize work, establish priorities, and meet stringent deadlines with attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to operate autonomously with a high degree of energy, self-motivation, and resourcefulness
