Client Management Relationship Specialist
EquiLend is seeking a Client Management Relationship Specialist to join its global team, based in New York. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of institutional clients in North America as it relates to EquiLend's complete product offering.
The successful candidate will be expected to drive revenue growth through the development of relationships across each firm's front office, support areas, technology units, and procurement groups. To accomplish this, the candidate will work with our clients to develop a strong understanding of their business needs and then tailor specific solutions to improve the efficiency, market coverage, and effectiveness of each client's Equity Finance operation.
Responsibilities
- Increase revenue to a pre-determined target through existing and new product sales to existing clients as well as any identified upsell opportunities that present themselves
- Work with existing clients to increase usage and flow across the platform
- Gain an in-depth understanding of each client's business by meeting regularly and forming strong relationships across all levels of their business
- Train clients on the full functionality of the platform to maximize usage and efficiency
- Maintain a high visibility profile with the regional community and engage in business markets and forums
- Run client workshops designed to promote adoption of the platform's functions
- Participate in product development initiatives by providing subject matter expertise
- Promote and expand usage of the platform for new markets and products
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree is required
- Two to five years of securities finance, electronic trading or e-commerce experience
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Experience with data products and or service provider platforms
- Ability to anticipate client needs and take initiatives
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Must be able to make decisions and solve problems quickly and accurately
- Must be able to work as part of a team
- Ability to work in a small office setting
- High ethical standards and a strong work ethic are a must
- Good presentation and interpersonal skills
