The ideal candidate:

  • Must be able to collect on current & past due balances while making quality decisions for Fora Financial and our clients.
  • Possesses a competitive and strong will to win attitude; demonstrated resiliency and extreme adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintains a strong customer focus with the ability to conduct detailed and intelligent financial discussions with clients.
  • Must possess excellent analytical, negotiation and decision-making skills; in addition to strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrates sensitivity and compassion for those in a difficult situation; empathetic while persuasive.
  • Is a high performer who drives strong results with effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Has incredible active listening skills and ability to understand client situations; must be effective in utilizing available tools, as well as possess critical thinking skills.
  • Heavily receptive to and embracing of changes; ability to quickly adapt in a dynamic environment.
  • Must be very comfortable on the phone, as you’ll make outbound collection calls and take incoming calls in a metrics driven environment.
  • Has above average emotional intelligence to connect, negotiate, and influence.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a phone-based contact center environment working Credit/Collections, Billing, Sales and/or Customer Service (3+ years of experience is preferred).
    • Note - Customer/Client facing experience will also be considered.
  • Strong customer focus with the ability to have detailed and intelligent financial discussions with business owners; professional business acumen and etiquette.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation and decision-making skills. 
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Proven ability to and passion for driving strong results; maniacal focus on efficiency, effectiveness and quality.
  • Demonstrated personal excellence including punctuality, integrity and accountability.
  • Ability to demonstrate sensitivity and compassion in a difficult situation.
  • Must have ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Extremely adaptable in an ever-changing environment.
  • Undergraduate Degree preferred.
  • Bi-lingual / Spanish preferred
