The primary mission of Catchpoint CIT is to ensure that staff can work efficiently and securely at all the office locations:  NY, Boston, San Francisco, Bangalore, Hamburg and Reading(UK).

This is a position for an enthusiastic, organized and competent IT support technician.  You must be comfortable with supporting users on both Windows and MAC.  Familiarity and experience with cloud based applications such as Office365, Okta SSO, and Zendesk is a plus.

This will be part-time, with the expectation of approximately 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities:  

  • Responding to user requests from all offices, following through on requests and escalating those that need attention. Good customer service skills, and attention to detail are a must.
  • Prepping machines for staff use (OS/updates/necessary software). Experience with images is a plus.  
  • Maintaining and updating inventory of all Catchpoint office assets including software
  • Ensure the on-boarding and termination of employees is processed efficiently, and access is granted or revoked to systems.
  • Learn phone system configurations and backup systems (VOIP) to enable quick response to ISP outages that may affect staff and maintain the office conferencing systems
  • Administer access to applications used by staff, including license count.


Skills and Experience:

  • 1+ years of experience in Desktop Support
  • Experience with Windows 7, Windows 10, Windows Server, and MAC OS
  • High comfort level with network troubleshooting (traceroute, nslookup)
  • Familiarity with Cisco Meraki firewall and OpenDNS or equivalent
