Director, Workplace Services
As SeatGeek’s Director of Workplace Services, you thrive on creating a professional and fun environment where employees feel safe, engaged and connected. In this role you will lead global Workplace Solutions including Office Management, Facilities and Real Estate.
Reporting to the CPO, you will play a critical role in creating an employee experience that leverages flexibility and productivity both in the office and while working remotely.
What you'll do
Office Management
- Leading a small team of office managers and office coordinators in our global locations, oversee key aspects of office management including vendor relationships, front desk/reception, food programming, events and administrative support.
- Provide a safe, welcoming office environment that is conducive to our collaborative, positive, fun culture
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and best practices
- Maintain the professional appearance and the effective and cost-efficient running of our global offices, ensure our brand is physically represented in our offices
- Spearhead office space related Return To Workplace efforts, ensure successful transition to hybrid work model
Facilities Management
- Ensure positive, productive relationships with our landlords and facilities vendors, suppliers and contractors
- Conduct RFP processes for office equipment and leases
- Ensure that all equipment is in proper working order and that service contracts are in place where needed
Real Estate Development & Management
- Set the vision for our long term RE footprint that best supports SeatGeeks’ growth and workplace needs (opening / sunsetting locations, leveraging co-working spaces, etc.)
- Lead office build-out projects globally, from vendor selection and the construction phase through to opening
- Manage our real estate portfolio and our leases in four cities in NA, Europe and Asia (possibly more in the future) and relationships with landlords
What you have
- 8+ years in a global Workplace Solutions/Facilities leader role, including Europe
- 5+ years experience building out offices for 20+ from ground up
- 5+ years experience leading a team
- Strong familiarity with mechanical (including HVAC) and electrical engineering principles, enough to work knowledgeably with vendors and make sound decisions
- Experience reading office leases and working with real estate attorneys to make sound business decisions
- Experience scaling startups or small companies in high growth mode
- Extremely strong project, budget management and time management skills
