Be a founding member of the Bizzabo Events Team at the most exciting (and rapidly growing) event technology company in the market. This team will be responsible for building an innovative, world class operation from the ground up. You will be responsible for creative development of event strategy, process, and systems while also executing a range of virtual, hybrid and in-person events throughout the year. This team will take ownership of both internal and external events, including but not limited to conferences, roundtables, recruitment events, offsites, etc. while working with internal and external stakeholders. Lastly, the Bizzabo’s events team will take a proactive role in educating and in sharing best practices with over 300,000 event professionals who are following Bizzabo, and with the event industry as a whole.

What you’ll be doing:

As an Event Marketing Expert:

• Manage all phases of planning and executing Live, Virtual, and Hybrid programs. Manage program logistics and communications with internal partners 
• Manage external contracts and communication with vendors and partners
• Conduct pre event briefs, post event reports, including but not limited to attendee surveys, analytics, and lessons learned
• Provide full-scale event logistics support for corporate events, external client facing events, tradeshows, training sessions, town halls, roadshows, recruiting events, virtual events, etc.
• Collaborate on the development of marketing campaigns and recommend global events that Bizzabo should sponsor/host
• Serve as the project manager for all groups involved in the event planning process - marketing, creative, communications, social media, etc. and provide guidance around internal/external events
• Manage budgets, food and beverage orders, audio visual orders, rooming lists, signage/displays orders, transportation requests, contract speakers or entertainers, procure promotional products, etc.
• Maintain registrations sites, communications, client meetings, mobile apps, and feedback surveys through Bizzabo
• Confidently and professionally present marketing concepts and event updates on budget spend to management and leadership
• Strive to learn and research new innovative concepts and tools to enhance event experiences
• Create client experiential events in alignment with sales and marketing strategy and objectives
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends and best practices to enhance meeting and event quality
• Provide onsite support, both independently and as a team, when needed

As a Subject Matter Expert: 

• Working with the Data team to surface reports and insights that will impact event organizers through hands on experience running events
• Working with the Product team to improve features and build the roadmap through thoughtful and direct feedback 
• Working with the Marketing team to create content targeted towards ICP through event execution and industry networking
• Working with the Enablement team to educate Bizzaboers on the industry and the challenges our organizers are facing. Acting as a customer that they will have direct access to
• Sharing and presenting best practices on webinars and events

• Corporate planning experience on events...
• ...with over 1,000 attendees
• ...for external stakeholders (user conferences, summits, etc)
• ...in person and virtual 
• Event experience in companies larger than 500 employees
• Proven hands on contribution to unique or innovative event execution
• Ability to demonstrate how events align with and make an impact on Bizzabo’s key business drivers
• Strong project management experience
• Experience with event marketing (promotion, communication, attendee experience, etc)
• Minimum 5+ years in Event Marketing or Management, including senior project management/event planner experience
• Strategic thinker and creative problem-solver, able to glean insights, develop a vision and bring it to life with actionable plans
• Must thrive in an environment of rapid change, moving targets, limited resources and cross-functional dependencies
