DESCRIPTION
Roomi is looking for a full-time Executive Assistant to join our team assisting our CEO. This is a highly strategic and facilitative role, enabling our CEO to work effectively with our internal team and external stakeholders and investors. We're a fast-growing startup and this is a great opportunity for anyone interested in entrepreneurship and tech startups to get an inside look at what it's like to take a company to the next level.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide administrative support to our CEO, including scheduling meetings and coordinating travel
- Manage the ebb and flow of the CEO’s inbox, schedule and upcoming commitments
- Confirm objectives/agenda and prepare detailed documentation for all meetings, internal and external
- Attend meetings, capture major take-a ways, and work with the CEO and executive team to ensure follow up
- Manage progress/next steps of projects and specific tasks that are top of mind for the CEO and ensure the CEO is kept abreast of activity
- Assist in the planning of high-profile company events
- Stand-in for CEO when he cannot make meetings
- Represent the CEO in outside forums that the CEO cannot attend
- Some personal requests
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
- An appreciation for every little detail and exceptional organizational skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- An entrepreneurial spirit and a “get things done” mentality
- 3-4 years of experience as an Executive Assistant
- Experience working in someone else’s inbox
- Extremely organized
- Self-starter
- Financial/VC background preferred
- Great Excel and PowerPoint skills
- A true “right-hand” who will work alongside our CEO
