Directly supporting our Chief Operating Officer, the Executive Assistant will be highly organized, detail oriented, personable, and charged with maximizing efficiency as they enable our COO to focus on key strategic aspects of Knotel’s business. S/he will establish strong relationships across our organization (and others!) while creating efficient processes to keep our COO’s day-to-day running impactfully.

What You’ll Do

  • Schedule and manage our COO’s calendar
  • Manage and submit expense reports
  • Liaise with C-level Executives, Knotel personnel, and vendors to plan and facilitate a variety of different meetings and/or events
  • Coordinate and draft team and company-wide communications
  • Book & handle all travel arrangements
  • Support occasional special projects
  • Provide administrative assistance to other executive leaders as needed.

Who You Are

You are extremely organized and love the challenge of establishing process and order. You build rapport quickly and have a proven track record of promptness, accuracy, and reliability. You understand that urgency and discretion are key. You must be able to work autonomously with little or no supervision and be excited about the idea of being hands on and learning as you go. This is an amazing opportunity to directly support senior leadership at a high-growth disruptive startup. You also have the following:

  • Availability to dedicate a minimum of 20hrs/week
  • 2+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant or in a relevant position in a fast-paced startup
  • Impressive organizational and project management skills--time management and follow-through are crucial
  • Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Passion for continuous learning and improvement.
