Spruce is looking for a talented Office Manager/Executive Assistant to join its growing team in NYC. This individual will be a highly organized self-starter with the ability to handle multiple priorities at once. The ideal candidate is able to build rapport quickly, both internally and externally. Office Manager/Executive Assistant has what it takes to manage a bustling office and keep a growing team happy. This individual will be integral in helping scale a fast-paced, rapidly growing team with a culture built on passion, hard-work and fun. This role will report to the Director of People.

Responsibilities:

• Help keep CEO and COO on track, running their calendars, and ensuring they are always in the right place at the right time 
• Plan and attend select meetings, take notes, prioritize takeaways and follow-ups
• Coordinate travel for senior team
• Be the face of Spruce and create a welcoming atmosphere for everyone that visits our office: greeting guests, answering and directing calls, opening mail and receiving deliveries 

Qualifications:

• 1+ years prior experience in a fast-paced office environment in a similar role, preferably at a startup Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Organized and detailed oriented
• A positive and sunny disposition
• A professional and polite phone manner
• A "can do" attitude; someone willing to own more as they get to know the role
