About the role...

As the Head of CRM, you’ll lead a best-in-class team to drive customer relationships and lifetime value through all available communication channels. More broadly, you’ll deepen our overall engagement with customers, keeping Policygenius top of mind for financial protection and advice. This is a high-visibility leadership role, with a focus on creating best-in-class customer experiences, influencing key business decisions, driving some of our most important business metrics, and leading a talented team. 

This is a unique opportunity to scale a successful program and a superior user experience through a vital company communication channel. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this position will work cross-functionally across the full Marketing team and have high-impact touch points with Operations, Product, Acquisition, Content, Brand, and Engineering.

In this role, you will…

  • Create strategic vision, KPIs, and strategy across multiple insurance product lines, CRM communication channels, and lifecycle touch points
  • Lead our CRM team to optimize our communication content and cadence through rigorous A/B testing and experimentation
  • Collaborate with our Data team to develop segmentation and personalization strategies that deliver the right message at the right time to the right customer
  • Maintain healthy email deliverability best practices and confidently troubleshoot any roadblocks that may arise
  • Grow our Policygenius community & email database through a variety of on-site, content, and partnership opportunities
  • Be a leader in defining key aspects of cross-sell strategy 
  • Measure, monitor, and analyze CRM’s overall business impact and progress toward KPIs
  • Collaborate with our Operations, Acquisition, Content, Brand, and Product teams to ensure consistency across the full customer journey

We’d love to hear from you if…

  • You have 7+ years of experience leading CRM and/or email marketing functions, company scaling experience preferred
  • You have 4+ years of people management and hiring experience 
  • You have hands-on experience with marketing and tech platforms (Iterable, Litmus, Unbounce, Tableau, Google Analytics)
  • You have basic technical skills, including HTML, CSS, and SQL
  • You have a proven track record of working collaboratively with Product, Engineering, Customer Service and/or Sales teams
  • You have superior written and verbal communication skills for customer-facing and internal audiences
