ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for a Lead Operational Risk Manager to be a key member of our risk team in our US office. Our aim is to build the risk function of one of the most successful financial technology firms in the world. Today we dig into Revolut app technology, tomorrow into treasury and finance and next week into customer support and help assessing risks of international expansion project. We are a small but quickly growing team, so you will not miss anything and your contribution will be highly visible.

What you'll be doing:

• Lead the Risk and Control Assessment Workshop;

• Work with the first line of defense to identify, assess, document and regularly review operational risks

• Coach the business to design and implement controls;

• Help design and build our operational risk engine;

• Assist with developing key risk indicators;

• Monitor operational risks against limits, produce respective reports

• Take ownership of the risk incident management process including registration of risk events, managing and delivering risk incident reports • • Conduct presentations and workshops in risk identification and mitigation

WHAT SKILLS YOU'LL NEED

• 2:1 degree from a top university & at least 7 years of work experience in Operational Risk Management or Management Consulting in financial services;

• Good, practical knowledge of statistics and probabilities;

• Previous examples of practically interpreting and organizing complexity;

• Experience of building advanced operational risk models;

• A solid track record of achievement: you have quickly assumed responsibilities or have won competition awards (can be any of academic, professional, and/or sport);

• Organized and methodological;

• Strong interpersonal skills
