What You Will Do

  • Greet guests, clients and interviewees, smiling and making them feel at home
  • Ensure cleanliness and professionalism of reception, lobby area and kitchen areas, and continually look for ways to improve our front-of-house procedures
  • Serve as a point of contact for visiting remote employees and event guests
  • Receive and notify employees of incoming mail and packages, and assist with outgoing shipments
  • Manage company calendars and meeting room schedules and proactively identify and solve for potential scheduling conflicts
  • Provide scheduling and general administrative support to various team leaders, specifically our two co-founders
  • Assist with office ops purchasing, facilities management, and events, as well as other team initiatives
  • Support internal team meetings with catering orders and room setups

What You Should Have

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 0-2 years of work experience, preferable in start-ups or active interest in start-ups.
  • Ambitious, bright and intellectually curious.
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented.
  • Friendly and professional. You take pride in your ability to cultivate a fun and inviting office atmosphere, and a willingness to engage with guests to make them feel welcome
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Skilled with Google Applications.

Our office is located in the beautiful Flatiron neighborhood of New York City and is half a block from Madison Square Park!
