THE ROLE

We’re seeking a highly organized Office Manager with great coordination skills to take care of our New York office. You must be ready to own numerous high-stakes responsibilities, anticipate office needs, and take action to create a positive work environment for the team that is constantly growing. You should be ready to work independently with minimal guidance, prioritize tasks, and make judgement calls quickly and effectively. You will report to the Director of Global Facilities and work closely with the Office and Facilities Managers in Montreal and the Office Managers in Boston and Bogota, Colombia. You are flexible, a self-starter and happy to take on new challenges daily.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage all aspects of the office environment (supplies, snacks, catering, vendor management, space organization)
  • Welcome guests and maintain front desk’s activities, assisting recruiting with candidate greeting when needed
  • Foster morale by coordinating events and perks
  • Coordinate with other office managers to ensure cohesive office experience for all staff
  • Keep day-to-day, non-technical, company operations running smoothly and efficiently

A perfect candidate has:

  • Experience in a 20+ employee office
  • Excellent judgment and organizational skills
  • Natural empathy and the ability to understand other people’s needs while balancing company goals
  • An adaptable and resilient attitude; must be comfortable with a fast-paced, scrappy, and turbulent startup environment and excited by the prospect of rapid growth and change
  • Independent, proactive and enthusiastic personality
  • Technology troubleshooting skills
