Who we are
We decided to build Mobley because we grew tired of selling, storing, or throwing away perfectly good furniture every time we moved. People spend $110 billion furnishing their homes every year. We believe that people should not be forced to buy disposable short-term furniture but instead be able to seamlessly rent beautiful high-quality items when they need them for time they want.
We built an asset light rental system that integrates a network of wholesalers, logistics providers, and financing partners to provide a curated affordable rental solution for today's consumer. Mobley was selected as part of the inaugural cohort for the Harvard iLab launch lab X accelerator which has a 4% acceptance rate among Harvard alumni founded ventures.
The role
We are looking to hire a driven and passionate self-starter to lead our customer service, operations, and logistics efforts. This role will have a meaningful impact on the company’s rapid growth trajectory and be exposed to all areas of the business. You are empowered to gather first-hand customer insights to drive customer acquisition and continuous product improvement.
Responsibilities
- Execute on the daily operations of order fulfillment, customer service and logistics
- Ensure that the customer receives an exceptional level of service in every interaction
- Become and act as a subject matter expert in our products and logistics
- Proactively contribute to product development and operational improvements based on customer insights and feedback
- Tirelessly work to scale operational processes and systems to drive rapid growth
- Set clear performance goals for productivity and accuracy
- Excited to seek out opportunities to drive the overall success of the company
What we are looking for
- Obsessed about delivering extraordinary and energetic customer experience consistently
- Great executor with attention to detail and a “no job too small” attitude
- Analytical rigor to think critically, solve problems, and grow with the business
- Superior written and oral communication skills
- Customer service or sales support experience preferred but not required
- Previous experience in direct-to-consumer startup a plus
- Well-rounded with diverse interest outside of work that is driven to make a serious dent in the world
