Work-Bench is an enterprise technology venture fund and community based in NYC. We’ve developed a new model for enterprise startup investing where we bridge early-stage startups with Fortune 1000 corporations to drive innovation in enterprise IT, scaling our startup family with access to customers and community.

We have an office near Union Square, which we use to connect what we affectionately call “suits and hoodies” in our ecosystem. Community is at the heart of everything we do -- our workspace houses 10 startups at any given time in addition to a few team members from Fortune 1000 partner organizations of ours. We host over 200+ events a year in our event space, and we organize countless events outside of our four walls as well.

We’re looking for a hungry and organized Operations Manager to join our community team and provide logistical support to our mission of enabling and empowering the enterprise technology community in NYC.

You’d join our small team of passionate and driven professionals in our beautiful office space and be vital in helping us build organizational processes. You’d get first-hand exposure to the NYC startup scene and have access to the full breadth of our events and professional development sessions to enhance your own growth.

  • Support our community - onboarding new members; working with Finance team on monthly billing of Member Companies; managing email communications with members (as needed); working with members to resolve issues and needs around meeting rooms, AV, IT, supplies, etc.
  • Manage office space - ordering food, coffee, and office supplies; coordinating maintenance; and managing Work-Bench’s relationship with our building management.
  • Manage front desk - greeting and triaging guests; managing packages, mail, and deliveries; answering + managing incoming calls; running errands (as needed)
