Here at Scentbird we are looking to add an exceptional Procurement Manager to join our operations team. The Procurement Manager will lead and plan all purchasing and procurement efforts for fragrance/scents and other cosmetics. They will work cross-functionally with operations, finance and branding teams and assist in building out a world class procurement team. We are looking for a true self starter, who thrives in a fast paced start up environment.

The role & responsibilities

• Support the end to end supply chain by driving service, quality and continuous performance improvement for our markets
• Lead all purchasing process of fragrances and other cosmetics.
• Work with branding team to strategize purchases in relation to pricing, availability and suppliers.
• Work with production and operation team to ensure seamless end-to-end processes.
• Daily communication with vendors and improving and management of vendor relations.
• Adherence and improvement to purchasing budget.
• Work with Finance team to forecast demand and volume with suppliers.
• Determine and implement cost reductions measures.
• Ability to build out and manage a purchasing/procurement team.

Requirements

• Five years procurement/category buying experience
• Experience in procurement for cosmetics/fragrance
• Two years experience in a management capacity
• Start up experience preferred
• Entrepreneurially-minded
• Great analytical skills
• Team player and good communication skills
