About the Position  
We are looking to add to our current IT Team! Every member of our team is fully committed to providing our internal and external customers with a superior level of service to which they have grown accustomed. You will be part of a passionate, technology hungry team, where we teach one another, we learn from one another, and our successes and failures are shared. This is primarily an office-based position with the potential for fieldwork from time-to-time. Travel would be local-based, mostly within the 5 boroughs and minimal travel to Westchester County and in New Jersey.  
 

Job responsibilities include:  

  • Take calls from our customers to troubleshoot browsers, custom peripheral hardware installation, or configuration issues.  

  • Maintain our in-office desktop and network needs – this includes upgrading hardware, imaging computers, installing software, configuring printers, and some light network support.   

  • Support web, desktop, and mobile apps for internal and external clients; in person, over the phone, or via screen sharing software.  

  • Reply to customers in a timely manner.  

  • Document and track all processes, procedures, and best practices.   

 Potential fieldwork responsibilities include:  

  • Visit new customers that need initial consultations about equipment purchases.  

  • Organize and make equipment recommendations based on the consultations.  

  • Install our custom hardware at customer sites and train clients in its use.  

  • Make field visits to NYC-area customers who need troubleshooting.  

  • Install software and hardware for external customers. 

About You  

  • Confidence and hands on experience navigating diverse technology environments. 

  • At least 5-7 years of IT break/fix experience.  

  • Proficiency with Windows 7,8, or 10 platforms. 

  • Proficiency with Mac OS, Android, and iOS beneficial. Prior SaaS and/or MSP experience a MAJOR plus 

  • Eager to learn and stay on the cutting edge of emerging technologies. 

  • Patient and comfortable engaging with diverse clientele with varying levels of computer skills and technical knowledge.   

  • Actively listen to the needs of our clients and advocating on their behalf.   

  • EXCEPTIONAL communication skills both written and verbal.   

  • Able to multi-task, prioritize, problem solve, and keep calm under pressure.   

  • Team mentality but able to work independently without having to be micromanaged.
