We are seeking a Senior Integrations Support Engineer to support our clients via a combination of reactive issue resolution and using learnings towards proactive issue prevention. 

The Senior Integrations Support Engineer will work within our Integrations Support Team on the front lines as they dive into data to identify root causes, code robust solutions, and apply their learnings to improvements across all of our integrations. They will be driven by a desire to get to the root cause of complex issues as well as build tools to make their diagnosis and resolution more efficient. This role will also require working cross-functionally with the Implementation and Engineering teams to communicate the lessons learned through support. This communication will ensure we consistently hold a high quality bar for new client integrations. As a senior member of the support team, the Senior Integrations Support Engineer will be expected to lead the development of best-practices, bringing past experience and lessons learned with them to the team

Responsibilities

  • Respond to and debug technical issues that arise from our integrations with clients
  • Analyze data from our clients and troubleshoot issues with missing or misinterpreted data 
  • Work with Cedar business development, software engineers and PMs to discover and fix technical issues in our product
  • Interact with clients to discuss issues and resolutions
  • Help ensure technical issues are resolved quickly with quality solutions
  • Help ensure our integrations with clients operate smoothly
  • Help drive best practices across support
  • Work closely with engineers who are building new integrations to communicate learnings to ensure we are constantly improving

Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of professional Support Engineering experience
  • Expert-level Python knowledge
  • Experience with Django and Postgres desirable
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Experience supporting data pipelines
  • Experience in a support/sustained engineering environment
  • Experience with, or interest in, interfacing with client counterparts
  • Experience with ITIL Service Operations desirable
  • Excited about Cedar’s mission of improving the healthcare financial experience
  • Eligible to work in the United States
