Job Description
Sr. Specialist, GPO Process Standardization
Our Company's Global Business Services organization is responsible for the design, governance and execution of global financial processes. The Global Process Owner - Account to Report (GPO - AtR) organization within the Global Business Services is responsible for the definition, optimization and governance of the Account to Report processes globally. The GPO - AtR organization will work closely with our Company's Business Services Centers (BSC), located across three regions (Americas, Europe, and Asia) to ensure efficient and effective delivery of the AtR processes.
Under the direction of the Global Standardization Leader for assigned area (AtR) and region, this role is responsible for implementing harmonized processes to establish consistent delivery in our Global Business Service Center network. This position will support the development and implementation of standardized processes and initiatives that aligns to a One BSC viewpoint using established process improvement methodology. This role will foster a culture of problem solving within the BSC Operations and Global Process Organizations that improves service delivery, cost and quality. The position requires strong collaboration skills to guide BSC staff through standardization and continuous improvement projects.
Who you are:

  • Team player that works closely with peers in the other centers to ensure consistent implementation and communication to stakeholders
  • Apply clear documentation of standard processes and their corresponding operational measurements.
  • Provide effective stakeholder engagement to facilitate the prioritization for standardization and improvement projects.
  • Utilize the change management program to support the implementation of standardized processes across the BSC and stakeholders.
  • Develop relationships with key internal stakeholders ensuring they are consulted and informed regarding potential process improvement changes.
  • Facilitate understanding with all process participants on role clarity within the end-to-end design, developing and maintaining process documentation and training materials
  • Recommend and Implement changes to the process and initiate process redesign under the guidance of the GPO Process Standardization leader
  • Takes a proactive role in the process to develop a roadmap of process standardization to effectively support the implementation


Skills/Qualifications:

  • Ability to drive regional alignment and implement best practices
  • Experience with process automation and familiarity with the level of standardization required to successfully automate activity
  • Strong interpersonal skills that align efforts across cultures and conflicting priorities
  • The ability to clearly communicate at the senior leadership level across various stakeholder groups.
  • Ability to manage conflict in a constructive manner and develop buy-in from involved parties
  • Ability to work cross-divisionally and globally
  • Experience in change management and demonstrated results
  • Excellent written/oral communication and presentation skills a must
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines
  • Team player who can also work independently and thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience with SAP systems applications.
  • Must be proficient in the Microsoft Suite Applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio
  • Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement Tools like Value Stream Mapping, Visual Management, 5S, Variation Reduction Kaizen etc.
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma application and tools preferred

Education

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in Science, Business Administration, Finance, Organizational Development, Engineering, technical field.
  • Detailed process knowledge in the area of AtR strongly preferred.
  • 3-5 years' experience in Systems / Process Engineering or Process Improvement
  • Requires a minimum of 5-7 years related Finance or business experience.
