About This Opportunity

CTI Staffing is partnering with a leading manufacturing organization to find an OCM Communications Specialist supporting a major SAP S/4HANA implementation. This is a remote contract role with periodic travel to plant sites.

The team is rolling out SAP across the business, and this role owns the communications side of that rollout: making sure every stakeholder group, especially plant and manufacturing staff, understands what's changing, why it matters, and what they need to do differently. You'll be the person turning technical SAP detail into messaging people actually read and act on.

What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain a communication plan tied directly to SAP project milestones
  • Write and publish a weekly newsletter as part of a regular communication cadence
  • Create FAQs, executive toolkits, talking points, and other comms collateral
  • Manage multiple channels: email, SharePoint, intranet, town halls, video
  • Translate technical SAP concepts into plain language for plant and manufacturing audiences
  • Partner with leadership and change champions to cascade key messages
  • Run engagement sessions and workshops that create real two-way feedback
  • Track communication effectiveness and report on stakeholder sentiment and adoption

Requirements

What You Bring

Must-Have:

  • 3-5 years in Organizational Change Management communications, ideally on large-scale ERP implementations
  • Direct experience with SAP or another major ERP platform in a live implementation
  • Experience communicating to plant or manufacturing audiences specifically
  • Strong writing, editing, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency with SharePoint, Teams, and email-based communication platforms
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines
  • Project management skills, with the ability to track and execute comms deliverables
  • Instructional design skills applied to communication materials

Nice-to-Have:

  • Change management certification (Prosci, ADKAR, or equivalent)
  • Experience on global or multi-site ERP rollouts
  • Manufacturing or plant industry background
  • Familiarity with agile delivery and its impact on communication planning

Technical Environment:

  • SAP S/4HANA
  • SharePoint, Microsoft Teams
  • Standard digital communication and newsletter platforms

What Success Looks Like:

  • A communication plan and cadence running on schedule within the first 90 days
  • Measurable improvement in stakeholder awareness and sentiment tracking
  • Plant and manufacturing audiences actively engaging with comms, not just receiving them
