Support origination, negotiation, and closing of renewable energy deals (site leases and PPAs) with commercial real estate owners. Prospect and outreach to clients, draft RFP responses and proposals, analyze and negotiate contracts, update deal metrics, and attend industry events.

Summary
The Origination Analyst will support all activities related to originating, negotiating, and closing renewable energy deals (Site leases and PPAs) primarily with commercial real estate owners. This position will directly contribute to the commercialization of renewable energy projects by prospecting new opportunities, developing relationships with prospective customers, and ushering them towards deals with Radial Power.
Requirements
- Conduct frequent cold and warm outreach via email and phone to existing and prospective clients to solicit business and provide updates on existing deals.
- Identify and assess new opportunities for contracting renewable projects, considering factors including market pricing, regulatory landscape, and customer type.
- Draft responses for submission to competitive RFPs and directly sourced business in conjunction with internal commercial and technical teams.
- Create customized proposals and marketing documents in PowerPoint and MS Word for offtake opportunities and prospective customers.
- Analyze Site Lease and Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) documentation and negotiate contracts/LOIs with potential customers and partners, ensuring alignment with company objectives and legal requirements.
- Update deal progress metrics within internal process management and reporting tools to facilitate regular updates to executive management and Board of Directors.
- Identify and attend relevant industry conferences, trade shows, and seminars with the goal of creating and maintaining customer relationships.

- Required Education
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
Required Experience
- 1-3 years’ experience working in commercial real estate or energy preferred.
- Experience in a business development or sales role requiring direct outreach to cold prospects preferred.
- Strong network within commercial real estate, particularly with owners of retail, industrial, and land asset classes preferred.
Other Skills
- Strong organizational skills with a sustainable process management mindset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Intermediate familiarity with Commercial Real Estate
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
