BAE Systems, one of the world's leading defense contractors, is hiring a Principal Industrial Controls / Operational Technology (OT) System Administrator to support the Holston Army Ammunition Plant ( HSAAP) in Northeast Tennessee.
We are looking to hire an experienced OT Systems Administrator to help develop, manage, and maintain our company's Operational Technology (Process Controls) computer systems. The individual will work alongside the Holston control systems support team to support continuous operations and modernization projects for the manufacturing facility. Ability to support a 24/7 operation with after hours on-call support included. This role requires regular presence in a manufacturing or fabrication environment. The incumbent must be able to access and safely navigate production areas which may include climbing, kneeling, stooping, and working in confined spaces. Must also be able to comply with all requirements including the use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with company policy.

Full-Time Salary Range: $96623 - $164259
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

OT Systems Administrator Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain and troubleshoot Windows-based OT computer systems, servers, and software
- Work closely with manufacturing to maintain continuous operations and to identify future needs/improvements
- Support modernization projects by specifying, designing, and implementing computer/server solutions
- Integrate modern security solutions with existing control systems and computers/servers
- Assist Cybersecurity team with incident response and investigation
- Support continuous improvement by staying current on latest industry standards
- Administration of computer/server policies and user accounts
- Network Storage Management and File Transfer
- Computer Backups and Restoration
- Development of computer scripts and Scheduled Tasks
- Management of custom Windows Applications (VB, JavaScript)
- Maintain computer / server documentation
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Successful applicant will be able to work independently, demonstrate strong initiative, an ability to organize daily tasks with minimal supervision and demonstrates the following:
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent industry experience, and 6+ years relative experience with a Bachelors or 4+ years with a Master's Degree
- Proven experience with networks in an Operational Technology (OT) environment with knowledge of industrial control systems and process controls
- Experience supporting a Windows-based environment
- Experience with design elements aimed at improving security, performance, and resiliency of control computers/servers
- Experience with virtual computing
- Experience with Data storage and Backup systems
- Ability to support a 24/7 operation with after hours on-call support included.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Familiarity with Process Automation Protocols (Profinet, EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP/IP, etc.) and Fieldbus Protocols (Profibus, Modbus, etc.)
- Experience with SQL Server / MS Access database maintenance and administration
- Experience with HMI / SCADA development ( PlantPAx, PCS7, Ignition, etc.)
- Windows Domain Administration (User and Group Policies)
- Experience with Windows Exchange Server
- Experience with Veeam/Exagrid backup systems
- Experience with MyID
- Experience working in an air gapped environment
- Hyper-V / VMware Management (Clients and Hosts)
- Help Desk Support for common user issues / requests
- Experience managing antivirus updates
- Experience with SCCM and / or WSUS for Windows updates
- CompTIA A+ Certification
