As a member of the Outsourced Solutions for Financial Services team, the Manager is responsible for managing multiple client engagements simultaneously and works with staff to coordinate workflow. We are seeking someone who thrives in a growing environment and providing clients with exceptional services.

A Manager develops and coaches staff and establishes relationships to develop new business for the Firm. Performance is judged based on management and leadership skills, quality of work, ability to meet time constraints and practice development. You will provide outsourced accounting and controller services for financial services clients, including hedge, private equity and venture capital funds, including related management companies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver outsourced finance, operations, and accounting services to private investment companies, including their management companies and general partner entities.

  • Serve as the primary client relationship manager, ensuring exceptional service delivery and proactive communication.

  • Supervise and mentor staff accountants across multiple geographies, fostering collaboration and technical development.

  • Coordinate with third-party service providers (administrators, custodians, auditors, tax advisors, technology vendors) to ensure seamless execution of client engagements.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (CPA or progress toward certification strongly preferred).

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in public accounting, fund administration, or investment management, demonstrating increasing leadership and technical complexity.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Deep technical knowledge of investment company accounting (ASC 946) and relevant US GAAP topics applicable to management companies and general partners.

  • Familiarity with portfolio accounting and fund administration platforms such as FundCount, Advent Geneva, or similar investment management technologies.

  • Experience leveraging cloud-based accounting solutions (QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage Intacct, NetSuite, Bill.com, Concur, Expensify).

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop team members at varying levels.

  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a client-service orientation.

  • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities, with proven success managing multiple concurrent engagements.

For NYC and California, the expected salary range for this position is between

85000

and

150000

The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences.  The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
