At Pair Eyewear, we believe in placing our people at the center of everything we do. We are dedicated to fostering a joyful and dynamic workplace, providing our employees with an environment where they can thrive and make a meaningful impact.

Pair Eyewear is seeking a Paid Search/SEO Manager to own the full search channel from campaign architecture, keyword strategy, and bid management across Search, Shopping, and Performance Max, to ad copy testing, feed optimization, and conversion tracking. There will be a strong emphasis on the analytical side: hitting customer acquisition cost targets, evaluating attribution, and understanding search's incremental contribution within the broader media mix. This role will report to our Director of Growth. You will own and scale our search presence across both paid and organic. You'll be our in-house expert across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads and organic search strategy. This is a high-ownership role sitting at the intersection of performance and content.

What You’ll Do:

Paid Search

  • Own strategy, execution, and optimization of paid search campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads (Shopping, Search, Performance Max, YouTube, Demand Gen)

  • Manage and allocate a multi-million dollar search budget to hit customer acquisition cost targets

  • Build and maintain a rigorous testing cadence around keywords, bidding strategies, ad copy & landing pages

  • Own feed management and segmentation opportunities

  • Stay ahead of platform changes (Demand Gen, SmartAI, PMAX evolution) and bring forward-looking recommendations

SEO

  • Own organic search strategy across technical SEO, on-page optimization, and content

  • Develop and execute a content strategy targeting high-intent keywords across the eyewear space

  • Build and manage a link acquisition program to grow domain authority over time

Cross-Channel

  • Partner with the data & analytics team to build reporting in Looker and ensure search data (paid + organic) integrates cleanly into our internal views

  • Collaborate with the creative team to align search messaging & asset evaluation across our campaigns

  • Coordinate with paid social and affiliate to align channel strategy, share keyword intelligence, and avoid cannibalization

Who You Are:
  • You're a full-stack search expert who owns both paid and organic with confidence

  • You're analytical and can making decisions from data and translating performance into clear, actionable insights

  • You're a strong cross-functional collaborator, comfortable working with other teams to get things done

  • You're a strong executioner, excited to develop scalable processes and systems as the channel grows

  • You move fast and prioritize well, balancing long-term strategy with the day-to-day demands of a high-growth DTC environment

Need to Have:
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in paid search and SEO, ideally within DTC or e-commerce

  • Deep fluency in Google Ads, Google Merchant Center, and Microsoft Ads — you can build and QA campaigns yourself with expertise within Google Ads Editor

  • Experience managing $3M+ in annual search spend with demonstrable efficiency gains

  • Strong understanding of incrementality, attribution, and how paid and organic search fit into a broader media mix

  • Comfortable assessing and analyzing data within Looker

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with subscription or membership products

  • Background managing search for licensed partnerships or co-branded collaborations

  • Familiarity with weekly or high-cadence product drop environments

  • Experience with both brand and performance search strategies

  • Experience leveraging AI tools to accelerate testing velocity and workflow efficiency

Some Benefits and Perks of Working At Pair:
  • Health, vision and dental insurance

  • Generous vacation policies

  • Competitive salaries with equity opportunities

  • Retirement savings plan options

  • Free eyewear (plus discounts for family and friends)
