Role OverviewWe seek highly strategic, well-connected, creative thinkers who are culturally aligned and eager to grow their communications expertise across the entire biopharma environment (not just medical, marketing etc). The ideal candidate will enjoy working at the intersection of a boutique, entrepreneurial culture that’s supported by the resources of a Fortune 500 parent company, IQVIA. We're looking for someone who builds trusted hands-on partnerships with clients, has meaningful conversations, spots opportunities and drives innovation and growth, and do so in a way that truly respects and empowers our team. The candidate must also have a deep understanding of the US Biopharma market and network to drive expansion within the US.
- Scientific & Strategic Communications: Experience in medical and scientific strategy and communications—developing strategic plans and narratives for specific assets, therapy areas, capabilities.
- Organizational Transformation & Change: Ability to lead and embed change communications, helping teams adapt to new operating models, cultures, or strategic shifts.
- Corporate, Commercial Value & Policy Communications: Strong grasp of the external environment (scientific, policy, access, and on-market dynamics), with the ability to translate this understanding into compelling positioning, narrative, and activation across multiple channels.
- Patient Engagement: Strong patient engagement capabilities – advising and supporting clients on effective engagement strategies at a corporate, franchise and asset level and across the product lifecycle.
Core Responsibilities
Client Leadership & Strategy
- Build and own a portfolio of business, with a strong focus on billable client work (approx. 50%).
- Lead client engagements and strategy, ensuring high-quality, value-driven outcomes.
- Deliver strategic guidance to senior client stakeholders, including C-suite and leadership teams.
Business Development & growth
- Drive business development, account growth, and service innovation.
- Effectively network within the US Biopharma market, identifying new business opportunities and converting to new client workstreams
Project & Team Management
- Oversee project planning, budget control, and resource allocation for portfolio delivery.
- Delegate and prioritize effectively, empowering teams while ensuring accountability.
- Set and uphold high standards for quality, strategic thinking, and detail accuracy.
- Guide teams through project and client challenges, providing support and training as needed.
Leadership & Culture
- Demonstrate executive presence and strong leadership, fostering team commitment and accountability.
- Provide real-time mentorship and development to team members, modeling Arc Bio’s values.
- Contribute to the future direction of Arc Bio.
Communication & Impact
- Demonstrate thought leadership within client portfolios or practice domains.
- Influence and negotiate effectively with senior stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience is required.
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in strategic communications, marketing, or similar organizations with an emphasis on healthcare and life sciences required.
- Experience creating and managing key client relationships, preferably with executive-level stakeholders in marketing, sales, or other commercial business areas.
- Strong people leadership abilities — a mentor who grows talent and builds cohesive, motivated teams
- Strategic mindset combined with operational precision and commercial awareness
- Collaborative spirit and a passion for doing meaningful, high-quality work
- Ability to travel as required for both client and IQVIA business needs.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $130,200.00 - $361,400.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time).
