  • Scientific & Strategic Communications: Experience in medical and scientific strategy and  communications—developing strategic plans and narratives for specific assets, therapy areas, capabilities.
  • Organizational Transformation & Change: Ability to lead and embed change communications, helping teams adapt to new operating models, cultures, or strategic shifts.
  • Corporate, Commercial Value & Policy Communications: Strong grasp of the external environment (scientific, policy, access, and on-market dynamics), with the ability to translate this understanding into compelling positioning, narrative, and activation across multiple channels.
  • Patient Engagement: Strong patient engagement capabilities – advising and supporting clients on effective engagement strategies at a corporate, franchise and asset level and across the product lifecycle.

Core Responsibilities

Client Leadership & Strategy

  • Build and own a portfolio of business, with a strong focus on billable client work (approx. 50%).
  • Lead client engagements and strategy, ensuring high-quality, value-driven outcomes.
  • Deliver strategic guidance to senior client stakeholders, including C-suite and leadership teams.

Business Development & growth

  • Drive business development, account growth, and service innovation.
  • Effectively network within the US Biopharma market, identifying new business opportunities and converting to new client workstreams

  • Oversee project planning, budget control, and resource allocation for portfolio delivery.
  • Delegate and prioritize effectively, empowering teams while ensuring accountability.
  • Set and uphold high standards for quality, strategic thinking, and detail accuracy.
  • Guide teams through project and client challenges, providing support and training as needed.

Leadership & Culture

  • Demonstrate executive presence and strong leadership, fostering team commitment and accountability.
  • Provide real-time mentorship and development to team members, modeling Arc Bio’s values.
  • Contribute to the future direction of Arc Bio.

  • Experience creating and managing key client relationships, preferably with executive-level stakeholders in marketing, sales, or other commercial business areas.
  • Strong people leadership abilities — a mentor who grows talent and builds cohesive, motivated teams
  • Strategic mindset combined with operational precision and commercial awareness
  • Collaborative spirit and a passion for doing meaningful, high-quality work
  • Ability to travel as required for both client and IQVIA business needs.
