About TED Partnerships

The TED Partnerships team is responsible for developing and executing strategic partnerships with organizations that ultimately fund TED’s non-profit mission of ideas worth spreading. We leverage our events, video and podcast content, digital platforms, and TED’s signature format to create creative, unique, and mutually-beneficial relationships with companies, associations, and foundations around the world. 

There is no “average” day on Partnerships, since our business is so dynamic. Our team sells a variety of products that help businesses transform from the inside and share their stories with the outside world. 

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct industry research and identify trends, and build prospect lists using tools like MediaRadar, Hunter, Apollo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator

  • Manage inbound leads and conduct initial outreach to assess partnership potential

  • Collaborate with Partnership Managers to prepare for client meetings by developing customized proposals, pitch decks, and presentations

  • Contribute to the development of RFP responses, media plans, and creative concepts that align with partner goals

  • Maintain a strong understanding of TED’s offerings and technical capabilities across video, display, audio, social, and custom content

  • Coordinate with internal teams to confirm specs, pricing, and inventory availability for partner programs

  • Track and maintain all partner opportunities, proposals, and deal status in Salesforce and AdBook

  • Ensure seamless handoff to the Ad Operations team for campaign execution and support the development of campaign recaps and renewal strategies

  • Liaise with the offshore trafficking team for campaign setups, creative QA, technical troubleshooting, and reporting inquiries 

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Enthusiastic about TED’s mission and the power of media to drive impact

  • A collaborative team player with a solutions-first mindset and strong interpersonal skills

  • Exceptionally organized and able to manage multiple assignments with competing priorities

  • A strategic thinker and active listener who can bring big ideas to the table  

  • 2-3 years of experience in a digital media, publisher, or agency environment

  • Working knowledge of digital advertising formats, media planning, campaign execution, and ad operations functions

  • Strong proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and CRM tools (especially Salesforce)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • This is a hybrid role with the expectation to be in the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays

Additional Information

Salary Range:  $70,00.00 - $78,000.00
