Own and execute partnership and growth initiatives: build segmented lead lists, manage CRM hygiene and outreach, qualify opportunities, represent the company at events, develop commercial collateral, and support competitive and pricing research to drive pipeline and revenue.
Who We Are:
Heat pump and other HVAC failures cost billions in emergency repairs and wasted energy annually, and are managed by an increasingly short-handed labor pool. That’s where we step in: Thalo is transforming the HVAC industry with next-generation sensing and AI-powered intelligence. Our AI-powered platform transforms static assets into self-monitoring, high-performance systems, empowering technicians to shift from reactive fixes to proactive service.
Our team has built self-driving cars at Waymo, worked on satellite imagery at Google, designed systems for John Deere, developed space missions for NASA, led manufacturing design for Boom Supersonic jets, and built and scaled enterprise partnerships and growth engines across mobility, financial services, and technology, and more. We are united by our shared goal of making products that help us leverage the built environment to decarbonize today and accelerate drawdown globally.
About the Role:
As the Partnerships & Growth Manager, you’ll report directly to our Head of Partnerships & Commercialization and help power the engine behind Thalo’s commercial growth. You’ll translate strategy into structured execution, driving pipeline clarity, strengthening outreach discipline, and ensuring every conference, lead conversation, and external engagement moves us closer to revenue.
This is a high-ownership, high-visibility role that blends operational rigor with selective external engagement. You may be building segmented lead lists, refining CRM workflows, or developing commercial materials one day, and representing Thalo at a conference or supporting a product demo the next. If you’re energized by building systems, creating forward motion, and turning brand presence into measurable opportunity, this role is for you.
What we offer:
- An immediate opportunity to make an impact fighting climate change with a mission-driven team.
- An in-person, collaborative culture. In our midtown Manhattan office, we not only have a stocked pantry but we also dedicate time to connect with each other during weekly happy hours and quarterly offsites.
- National subsidized healthcare plans for medical, dental, and vision insurance.
- Additional benefits include a 401(k) program, 12 weeks paid parental leave, and paid time off.
- Free, anonymous mental health and coaching appointments through Lyra.
- At our ground-floor stage, our compensation structure places a strong emphasis on the value of high equity, with an annual base salary ranging from $95,000 - 125,000.
What you'll do:
- Drive pipeline clarity and disciplined execution. Build segmented lead lists, manage structured outreach plans, own CRM hygiene, and ensure leadership has clear visibility into opportunity tracking and deal velocity.
- Identify and qualify new growth opportunities. Conduct structured market research across the HVAC ecosystem and adjacent markets to surface strategic partners, ecosystem channels, and high-quality inbound and outbound leads. Support early-stage conversations, introductory calls, and product demos.
- Turn brand presence into measurable opportunity. Represent Thalo at conferences and business development events, project manage logistics and materials end-to-end, and ensure rigorous follow-up and conversion after every external engagement.
- Develop high-quality commercial enablement assets. Create and maintain decks, case studies, one-pagers, proposals, newsletters, and website content to ensure consistent, clear messaging aligned with our go-to-market strategy.
- Strengthen commercial insight and segmentation. Support competitive analysis, pricing research, and market segmentation efforts to refine positioning and inform partnership strategy.
What you have:
- 3–6 years experience in business development, consulting, commercial operations, revenue operations, or high-growth startup environments
- Highly organized with strong execution discipline
- Fast, structured researcher with strong analytical thinking
- Clear and confident written and verbal communicator
- Strong ownership mentality and accountability
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Confident engaging both internally and externally
Bonus points:
- Early-stage startup experience
- Design skills and experience
- Exposure to HVAC, mechanical, electrical, or related field service industries
- MBA
