About the role
As a Payments Partnerships Manager, you will support the day to day partner relationships management, execution, and optimization of Whop’s payments partner ecosystem. You will work closely with leadership to manage day-to-day coordination with processors, fintech partners, and infrastructure providers. The focus is on execution, analysis, and relationship support — not leading negotiations independently.
Scope:
- Own and grow relationships with key partners including banks, PSPs, networks, and BNPL providers
- Lead onboarding and integrations with new partners, working closely with Product, Engineering, Risk, and Operations
- Drive performance across payment flows, focusing on conversion, cost, and reliability
- Identify and develop new partnership opportunities across the payments ecosystem
- Negotiate agreements that support new products and scalable infrastructure
- Translate partner and performance insights into product and business impact
- Help shape the roadmap by identifying opportunities enabled through payments infrastructure
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience (3+ years) building and managing partnerships in payments, fintech, or financial servicesStrong ability to operate under pressure and drive resolution across complex, real-time operational challenges
- High ownership with a clear sense of urgency and strong prioritization across multiple workstreams
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate numbers into clear business impact and actionable insights
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complexity and align both internal and external stakeholders
- Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and executives, internally and externally
- Experience working with global partners across multiple regions is a strong advantage
- Familiarity with multi-PSP environments, payment methods, or BNPL ecosystems is a plus
Your first 90 days will look like the following:
- Within 30 days, you understand Whop’s payment stack and partner landscape.
- Within 60 days, you are independently managing partner relationships and supporting initiatives.
- Within 90 days, you are driving defined workstreams and identifying optimization opportunities.
The expected salary range for this position is $140,000 to $190,000 annually, with final compensation determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
